Kristin Dimovitz is a freshman at GWU on a mission to provide care packages filled with food, warm clothes, blankets, and hygiene items to homeless citizens throughout DC in an effort to improve her new neighborhood.

Each package will include at least a pair of gloves, a hat, toothbrush, toothpaste, fitted clothes, blankets, non perishable food items, and information about available resources for those in need in the area.

Interested in giving back? You can donate today (see below) or check out Boxes of Hope at PhilanthroFEST in DC on Saturday, March 15th.  More than 300 volunteers will come together as we will be collecting donations for Boxes of Hope, providing thousands of hot meals to homeless individuals, collecting food, blankets, clothes, and resources for direct donation to the needy and/or distribution to local shelters and non profit organizations. There will be a number of charities in attendance to raise awareness for their causes and register volunteers for upcoming efforts. If you have any questions you can email members@studentinternnetwork.com.
