Job Description:
 
J&C Suiting has an excellent opportunity for dedicated, hard-working Social Media Specialists to join their fun and fast-paced environment at the DC-based custom men’s suiting startup. Candidates should have experience in blogging and social media, and should be able to produce examples of their work. They should be a self-starter, and have the ability to take initiative in an unstructured environment.  The candidate should be able to commit 15-20 hours per week for at least 6 weeks (extension dependent on performance) and be ready to start as soon as possible.  

Key responsibilities: 

• Plan, develop, and maintain current and new social media communications efforts.
• Make recommendations regarding the use of current and future social media channels.
• Plan and manage social media campaigns across several different platforms including Facebook, Twitter, blogs, Flicker, etc., while keeping in line with company best practices.
• Develop content and promotions for social media sites. Collaborate with outside vendors when needed.
• Use Google Analytics to determine the most effective use of online marketing campaigns 

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgable in a range of social media formats (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Tumblr) 
• Must have strong understanding of social marketing concepts and emerging social networks
• Superior communication skills
• Strong command of Adobe products is a plus but not required
• Strong research and quantitative skills – ability to show impact of implemented social strategies
