On Friday, June 14th, Student Intern Network is partnering up with a number of organizations to bring together students, interns, and young professionals to raise money for ‘Summer of Service’ partner, Collective Action for Safe Spaces (CASS) in a fun setting as we roll into the summer season. No need to worry about inclement weather – in the event of rain, the rooftop is covered! RSVP on Facebook
The shin-dig kicks-off at 5pm, with an open bar and complimentary food until 6pm. There will be live entertainment, a number of contests and games, and free bar tab give-a-ways to guests wearing their SIN Deals Bands (available at the door). The event is 18+ to enter, 21+ to drink.
Proceeds from all of the bar revenue and collected donations will help CASS reach their fundraising goal to launch a new program in Washington, DC: RightRides. The mission is to provide safe, free transportation to women and members of the LGBT community to their residence from bars or other nightlife establishments without the fear of walking alone or scrambling for cab fare late at night.
