Simple. Grilled. Delicious. Yakitori, which is essentially Japanese BBQ, is making its way into the NYC dining scene with two new restaurants set to open supported by notorious culinary “masters” including the chef behind Masa and the proprietors responsible for Chuko.

Masa Takayama is set to open Tetsu early 2014, where guests can expect high end, booze friendly yakitori. In early October, David Koon, Jamison Blankenship and James Sato will open the intimate BarChuko offering more delicious bites just down the street from their famed ramen joint.

Get in line, these establishments are sure to be the next “hot spots” for fun, laidback, booze-friendly dining in New York City.
