A recent article from the Washington Post highlighted one of the many crippling effects of the increasing student loan burdens American graduates face – 20-something’s aren’t able to buy their first house, let alone cover all of their student loan and other built up debts.

The effect here is much larger than just a debilitated generation. This looming crisis comes with significant repercussions and it is imperative that policy makers and institutions begin looking for reasonable solutions. Millennial’s represent a demographic 7% larger than Baby Boomer’s, and a generation that is entering the workforce facing staggering under / unemployment numbers, inflated interest rates, and a highly volatile job market.  Check out the article in WaPo and chime in with any thoughts…
