Network to Success
Student Intern Network communities will bring together peers, professionals, and public figures to organized “Network to Success” happy hours a couple of times each semester. The goal of the events is to connect members with an effective professional network, and introduce them to leaders and employers in specified fields of interest ranging from government to real estate. One time each semester, each community will get together for the staple Network to Success event in the honor of successful networking and collaboration.
Job & Internship Placement
Partnerships with established employer partners, as well as with established web based platforms internmatch.com and careerbuilder.com, Student Intern Network members will enjoy direct access to new job and internship opportunities nationwide every day. Social Events & Outings
Organized happy hours, nightlife events, outings to the ballpark, and more are all part of the engaging and affordable social calendar each semester. From bar crawls to networking happy hours, organized tailgates to weekend getaways, Student Intern Network offers the opportunity to connect with other members and enjoy everything the city has to offer with an exciting social calendar.
Philanthropic Outreach
In an effort to establish a strong community of engaged members and give back to local organizations, Student Intern Network helps area charities and non-profits wherever possible, including assistance raising funds, awareness, and volunteer efforts for given causes. Additionally, an in-house mission to launch “The Seed Initiative” will initially create federally insured, interest accumulating college savings accounts for hundreds of students (K-2) from underprivileged situations nationwide.
Rebuilding America: Path of the Entrepreneur
In collaboration with Global Voice Hall, Student Intern Network is a part of the nationwide event series bringing featured speakers, established entrepreneurs, and interested student leaders together for informative panel discussions and presentations shedding light on the importance of entrepreneurship in the modern day career climate. Additionally, Student Intern Network is hosting a pitch competition open solely to collegiate entrepreneurs at each stop, from which the winner(s) will be placed into a national contest with awards including cash investment, business development assistance, and marketing resources.
