From massive buffets, to classic American treats and even star-spangled spirits, D.C. has just about everything you could desire in Fourth of July cuisine.

If you don’t feel like barbecuing in the rain on what looks like a stormy Independence Day in the capital, maybe you should check out what the D.C. restaurants have to offer.

Here are 10 of D.C.’s best July Fourth food specials this year: 

1. Lincoln Restaurant; 1110 Vermont Ave NW

For the fifth straight year, Lincoln is throwing its Independence Day Party, an all-you can eat Fourth of July bash that goes from 2-11 p.m. Tickets cost $35 per person and $17 for kids under 12, which includes a buffet with chicken, burgers, brisket, sides and pies. For those who want to do more drinking than eating, there will also be $3 PBR’s and Miller Lites and $30 bowls of Lincoln’s signature Emancipation Punch. Call 202-872-8700 to reserve.

2. Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken; 1308 G Street NW

Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken will be serving up some crowd favorites this weekend, reintroducing their birthday cake and USA doughnuts to commemorate the Fourth.

3. Zengo; 781 7th Street

Zengo will be offering bottomless brunch Fri-Sun 10 a.m.-3 p.m., which includes unlimited small plates and endless brunch cocktails. They’ll also have the patriotic tri-colored Stars ‘n Stripes Margarita for $5 and spicy Firecracker Wings for $7. Zengo is one of many brunch joints to extend its services to Friday, including Tico and Founding Farmers.

4. Bayou Bakery; 1515 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA

If you stop into Bayou Bakery any time this weekend, you’ll find yourself a classic all-American meal. The special includes a chopped BBQ pork sandwich with Brad n’ Butter pickles, corn on the cob and choice of slaw or potato salad, all served in a patriotic red, white and blue paper boat for $12.

5. Society Fair; 277 South Washington Street, Alexandria, VA

Society Fair’s Fourth of July to-go bags are back, and this year’s $65 bag, which feeds 4, will include brined pork chops, summer succotash, potato salad, and fresh-squeezed lemonade. To commemorate the stars and stripes, they’ll also be making red, white and blue cobbler. You can order the bags online and pick them up at Society Fair.

6. Republic; 6939 Laurel Ave, Takoma Park, MD

This year, Republic is throwing its second annual Freedom Fest, an outdoor event that features BBQ pork and sides, local beers and live music. If you reserve online, $40 will get you a ticket to either the 11 a.m.-3 p.m. or 3-7 p.m. session, which includes beer and one BBQ meal. You can also get an all-day VIP pass for $70.

7. Teddy & the Bully Bar; 1200 19th Street NW

You’d expect a place that modeled its menu to fit Teddy Roosevelt’s tastes to have a pretty killer lineup for July Fourth, and Teddy & the Bully Bar is no disappointment. For this Independence Day, the bar will be offering pickled brined fried chicken, BBQ brisket and a red, white and blue Patriotic Sundae.

8. G by Mike Isabella; 2201 14th Street NW

G will be offering picnic baskets to pre-order from July 1-July 7 at $39 for 2 people and $74 for 4. You’ll have a choice of a bunch of sandwich and salad options, plus a drink, two sides, chips and cookies for each person.

9. Boundary Road; 414 H Street NE

Boundary Road is perfect for people who don’t want to spend their July Fourth cooking all day, offering $40 buckets of fried chicken that include potato salad, watermelon salad and chocolate chip cookies.

10. Café du Parc; 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue

You might be surprised to find Fourth of July specials at a French restaurant, but Café du Parc has a whole spread dedicated to American Independence Day. Their July Fourth menu includes French takes on American classics, like the Willard Burger on a baguette bun, plus traditional American fare like BBQ ribs and Apple Crumble.
