MyTaxi is the world’s largest taxi app. The concept is simple: download the MyTaxi app through the Apple app store, Android Google Play, or the Blackberry World app store. Once the app is on your phone, you have the ability to conveniently order a taxi no matter where you are.
Whether you decide to use the app on your phone or tablet, MyTaxi will inform you where the nearest taxis are in comparison to your current location. Once you select the Taxi that you want, MyTaxi will give you updated information as to your taxi’s progress. In case you are like me and are weirdly interested in the life and back story of your specific taxi driver, MyTaxi will also send you information about your driver including their name and a photo.
Even better news about the MyTaxi app: you don’t need to worry about having cash or card on you in order to pay the driver. With the app, you can directly pay the driver without having to deal with any of the hassle of having correct change. Everything is taken care of through “smart meters” that are able to connect to credit card readers and smartphones.
